With Portugal being the host of the Eurovision Song Contest, I’ve manually collected all the songs to participate in this European television show and used Spotify’s data about them to find some interesting facts.

Using energy and valence attributes, I’ve managed to classify these songs into Happy, Sad, Angry, or Relaxed. And discover some data-driven facts about them.

Apart from the text, a video, and a radio story, I’ve used d3.js to build a chart with this data that allowed the readers to explore all the songs.
